About Us
Purchasing your bridal gown from our boutique is guaranteed to be a fun and relaxed experience from start to finish. Our brides are very important to us, we will always be on hand with advice and a sympathetic ear when wedding planning gets a bit stressful.
Our small team consists of some wonderful ladies Annabel the owner and her team of fabulous ladies, who are all fully trained bridal stylists who can't wait to help you.
We are here to guide you through the sometimes daunting world of wedding dress shopping. as curvy ladies ourselves we understand which bits you probably would like to hide and which bits you want to show off, we have spent years styling brides and getting to know the tricks of the trade to help you feel fabulous.
We love to get to know you, chat about your style, where you're getting married, how you picture yourself on the day etc. Please do bring images to your bridal appointment of wedding gown styles you like. Visuals are always great, as we understand that bridal 'speak' can be confusing at first!

Parking
You can park in church street pay and display for up to 3 hours for £2.30. Sainsbury’s car park is a 7 minute walk from the boutique and is free for 2 hours.

Owner
Wedding dress enthusiast and Disney fanatic…. Annabel has owned our sister shop Belle of the Ball Bridals for nearly 14 years, with a love of wedding dresses and a passion for making wedding dress shopping a magical experience, this has been a job she has wanted ever since she was a child . She has built the business from having 20 dresses to where she is today- over 300 dresses…
After a significant weight loss for health reasons she understands different body shapes and our hang ups we all have about ourselves whether a size 6 or 34!
She can often be found getting excited with a bride and being the first to swoop in with a huge hug when the brides says YES or at trade shows buying far too many dresses as they are all so pretty. After 14 years there isn’t much Annabel doesn’t know and she is a constant source of knowledge for our brides.
Every day feels just as magical for her as it did that first day she opened the doors
Fern
Lead Bridal Stylist
Fern is a very talented jewellery designer and has an amazing eye for detail. Fern has taught us so much about creating personalised products and has the most amazing eye for window displays and everything pretty.
Fern is an absolute natural with all of our brides and has such a fabulous way of making brides feel instantly at ease. She is able to look at a bride and listen to their wants and their body issues and immediately understand what to pull to make the bride feel and look fabulous.
Although Fern is one of the youngest team members everyone has learnt a whole host of knowledge from her. When Fern first joined the team it was obvious that this was a job she was born to do.
Fern is the go to for creating within the shop, whether it is the personalised gifts you receive from us or our incredible window displays, if it looks super pretty it was probably all down to Fern and her vision
Tara
Bridal Stylist
Tara is our lead bridal stylist in Belle Of The Ball Bridals and is our second stylist in Devlin Bridal Couture. Tara has the most incredible kind energy, she makes every bride feel instantly at ease with her warmth and absolutely love and care for our brides.
Annabel and Tara have known each other for nearly 14 years when Tara was a bride herself and visited the shop and purchased her own gown for her wonderful wedding, so she knows all about how wonderful being a Belle Of The Ball Bridals bride is.
Tara has 2 wonderful children and enjoys spending time with them and her husband and their dog Wispa.
Tara is the tidy meticulous perfectionist of the trio, she is the person who makes sure that everything is in its place, the dresses are super neat and everything is just as it should be..... her memory is also second to none.... if you are not sure about something, just ask Tara, she will remember perfectly.
